Jamiejohn Anderson was born and raised in Liverpool.
The city shaped his values, pace, and standards.
It still does. 
He has spent over twenty years building a career around cultural heritage, hospitality, and how people feel when they arrive, stay, and leave.
His work blends operational discipline with a strong belief that experience matters.
Jamiejohn began his career in kitchens.
He trained as a chef in leading UK hotels and restaurants.
Those early years built his work ethic, people skills, and attention to detail.
The kitchen taught him rhythm, responsibility, and respect for craft.
That foundation led to international roles, major events, complex venues, and a period running his own business.
It was here he learned about risk, cashflow, and consequence.
Lessons that still guide his decisions.
For nearly a decade, Jamiejohn lived and worked in Scotland.He held senior leadership roles across Edinburgh, Glasgow, and St Andrews.
His work included Heritage Portfolio / Centerplate, SEC Glasgow, and the Home of Golf.

He is currently Executive Director of Operations at National Museums Liverpool where his remit spans visitor experience, commercial operations, hospitality, estates, health and safety, and security across multiple sites.
It is complex work, rooted in governance, care, and public trust.
Alongside his executive role, Jamiejohn supports several organisations in a non-executive capacity.
He remains deeply interested in food, culture, and the visitor economy.

His strengths sit in strategy, financial stewardship, commercial judgement, operations, culinary thinking, and leading change. At the centre of his work is one clear aim:
to create experiences people remember. ✨

Outside work, Jamiejohn enjoys reading, film, theatre, live music, long walks with his wee dog 🐕, and cooking with his partner, Eimear .
In his hometown of Liverpool, he is committed to doing work that matters and contributing to the city’s cultural life.
